The CSE would like to thank again all the young clinicians and investigators who presented their clinical cases and research at our recent symposium; Dr Christine Henri (Montreal Heart Institute) for the organization of this competition; as well as the judges who had the very difficult task of selecting the best posters considering the high quality of each presentation. The winners are:
– In the “Clinical Cases” category: 1. Tan Suwatanaviroj (Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute) and 2. Anhar Alhussaini (McMaster University)
Judges: Drs Arsène Basmadjian (Montreal Heart Institute), Davinder Jassal (Max Rady College of Medecine, University of Manitoba) and Dinesh Thavendiranathan (Toronto General Hospital)
– In the “Original Works” category: 1. Jennifer Meloche (Toronto General Hospital) and 2. Francois Simard (Montreal Heart Institute)
Judges: Drs Harald Becher (ABACUS Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute), Ian Burwash (Ottawa Heart Institute) and Francois Tournoux (CHUM, Montreal).
We encourage more young clinicians and investigators to submit their abstracts in the future.
The CSE will also support young professionals who will have abstracts accepted at ASE and EACVI in 2018. Please do not hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for additional information.
